About the 5th International Conference
The 5th International Conference, KαSAM-2024, was organized in Kathmandu at the Park Village Resort Hotel from October 22–24, 2024. The conference continued KαSAM's tradition of establishing and strengthening collaborations between materials scientists from Nepal, South Asia, and the rest of the globe.
The event featured a diverse range of themes including Materials Design, Polymer Technologies, Smart and Functional Materials, Green Technology, and Data Science. It also included a 1-day ‘Short Course’ focused on "Recent Advances in Functional Materials Synthesis and Characterization" for students and early-career scientists.
